Ukrainian cbank gets Sberbank stake request from Guselnikov

KIEV, Apr 18 (PRIME) -- The National Bank of Ukraine has received a request from Grigory Guselnikov, the owner of Norvik Banka, to acquire a 22.5% stake in the Ukrainian affiliate of Russia’s biggest lender Sberbank, the authority said in a statement on Tuesday.

Earlier in April, the ruler received documents from businessman Said Gutseriyev who plans to buy 77.5% in Ukraine’s Sberbank.

Sberbank said earlier in April that it expects the deal to be closed until the end of June. Kommersant business daily reported that the value of the deal amounted to about U.S. $130 million, slightly less than the capital of the affiliate.
